A resident of Philadelphia for almost 6 years, with an inquisitive and hedonistic personality packed her metallic clutch, Phreaked is Shannon’s delicious endeavor into Philadelphia entertainment. Parties, movies, restaurants, fashion shows, or interesting travel destinations; if it’s Phil-atrocious or Phil-astounding, it will be covered.

Shannon graduated Magna Cum Laude from Temple Unversity with a B.A. in Journalism, Public Relations & Advertising with a concentration on Magazine Journalism. Her need to further understand people and the way they relate to each other, as well as her desire for diversity compelled her to declare a minor in African American Studies; she found it to be one of her most rewarding academic pursuits. Also during her time at Temple U., she played rugby for 4.5 years, finding herself a starting player on a national championship team, twice. Outside of her competitive edge and aggressive nature, she still enjoys the role of glamor girl, modeling for designer friends. The girl can’t resist a great fashion deal. It’s that New England resourcefulness, after all, she was born and raised in Cape Cod before migrating to da Philth. She does not have, nor has ever had, a Boston accent. “Yo” rolls out of her mouth more than “Wicked” now. Loving this city at times and hating it at others, it is Shannon’s home with her adorable black puggle, regardless.
